Verjuice & Wine Vinegars

Verjuice (derived from the French term 'vert jus' meaning green juice) is the juice from unfermented, unripened grapes.  This zesty juice is a great alternative to lemon juice or vinegar and is used as a delicate culinary condiment for a range of dishes as wide as the inventive chef's imagination.

The grapes used to make this quality verjuice are grown according to the Biodynamic standards of Organic production and are harvested and graded by hand.  It is then carefully processed without the use of any additives or preservatives whatsoever.

Ideal for use in salads, dressings, meat dishes, desserts, in fact anything that requires a fresh, zesty appeal.

Wine Vinegar is said to have many therepeutic properties.  It acts as an excellent antiseptic and antibiotic and is also regarded as an antihemorrhagic, astringent, diuretic, laxative and a stimulant.  It is a beneficial aid in the treatment of acne, anaemia, arthritis, asthenia, cellulitis, conjunctivitis, convalescence, gout, haemorrhoids, menopause and varicose veins.  It is a rich source of amino acids, vitamins and menerals, helps digestion, decreases cholesterol and high blood pressure and is good for circulation and detoxifying the body.  It also  improves metabolism, including the ability to suppress the appetite during weight loss programs and also helps to boost the immune system.  Made from a blend of famous wine grape varieties, these Certified Bio-dynamic wine vinegars have been carefully produced by a multi-stage fermentation process without the use of any additives or manufacturing aids whatsoever.  It is then aged for a minimum of two years. the result is a high quality vinegar contaning 6%Acidity. Excellent for use in salad dressings, marinades, sauces and preserving.
